The Griffins are coached by Michael Ringrose who has been with the University since the 2017-18 season. On May 9th, 2019, it was announced that the Griffins had been approved to join the Canada West Conference of the CIS.
?The Crusaders organization are proud of Brayden, and his accomplishments this season,? said General Manager, Kyle Chase. ?To virtually miss two years of hockey and come back and have the season that he had on a very good hockey team, he can be extremely proud of his accomplishments as well.?

?They (MacEwan University) have acquired one of the best teammates our organization has seen in years,? said Kyle Chase. ?We wish the best of luck to Brayden.?
