The Okotoks Oilers Jr. A Hockey Club is excited to add Oilers alumnus, Kyle Schussler, to our team in the role of Assistant Coach & Director of Sponsorship.
Schussler, who played with the Oilers from 2006-2008, and was the recipient of the AJHL Stewy Stewart Award in 2008, will be joining us behind the bench this coming season. Kyle brings with him both hands on experience and a tremendous amount of practical knowledge. Having played two seasons in the AJHL as an Okotoks Oilers and moving onto Division I at Dartmouth College for four seasons. Working hard both on and off the ice, Kyle obtained his B.A. and was the recipient of the Unsung Hero & Sportsman of the Year Awards. Moving on to Ohio University he was able to complete his Masters in Sports Science while working as the Assistant Coach for the Men’s Hockey Team.
Recently relocating back to Okotoks, Kyle is looking forward to being a part of the Oilers Organization once again. We would like to welcome Kyle and his girlfriend Andee to Okotoks and the Oilers family.
