Leblanc Commits to Liberty University

The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce that 20 year old forward Lindsay Leblanc has committed to Liberty University of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association) for the 2011-12 season. The Liberty University Flames are a club team located in Lynchburg, Virginia. The Flames play in the ACHA in the Division 1 League in which they were ranked 15th this season. The current Head Coach of the Flames is Jeff Boettger.

Lindsay played three seasons in the Alberta Junior Hockey League; two of which were with the Drayton Valley Thunder and one season with Sherwood Park Crusaders. Leblanc is a solid two-way forward that takes pride in being put in defensive situations as well as excels in a penalty killing role. He also leads by example with regards to his competitive level on daily basis and he is the ultimate team player.
