The Camrose Kodiaks are proud to announce that 2004-born goaltender Wilson Maxfield has committed to the NAIT Ooks of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) for the 2025–2026 season.
Maxfield joined the Kodiaks in December of last season and quickly made an impact between the pipes. In his time with Camrose, Wilson posted an impressive 2.81 goals-against average (GAA) and a .916 save percentage (SV%), proving himself to be a steady and reliable presence in goal during a key stretch of the season.
“Wilson came in and immediately gave our team confidence,” said Kodiaks General Manager Eric Kroetch. “He was calm under pressure, had a great work ethic, and quickly became a leader in our dressing room. We’re thrilled to see him take the next step in his hockey and academic career with a strong program like NAIT.”
Maxfield will join a growing list of Kodiaks alumni continuing their careers at NAIT, including Avery Trotter, Ty Hodge, and Odin George, who are all slated to suit up for the Ooks next season.
