Miller to Attend Wentworth Institute of Technology

Graduated goaltender Joel Miller has committed to attend and continue his hockey career at the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts. Miller will suit up for the Leopards, who compete in Division III of the Eastern College Athletic College. The Chestermere, AB native had a very impressive tenure with the Saints posting a 38-6-3 record while amassing 6 shutouts and a save percentage over .923 in the past two seasons. Miller will work to attain an engineering diploma at WIT.

“I am very excited to join the Leopards and work on an Engineering Degree in the next step of my career as a goaltender and student. They (WIT’s hockey program) were looking for a guy who can play a lot of minutes and I am happy to take on the challenge. I would like to thank Saints Head Coach / GM Jason McKee for doing the ground work for this opportunity and also my goaltender coach Dustin Schwartz who refined my skills and bringing my mental and physical game beyond where I ever thought it could be.”

Joel will begin his next step in the Fall of 2012. The Saints wish all the best to Joel and thank him for his contribution to the success of the Saints.
