Brooks Bandits forward Mirko Buttazzoni is the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Player of the Month. Mirko led all skaters through December with 19 points (8G, 11A) through nine games played and has extended his active point streak to 17 games and 35 points (15G, 10A).
Mirko Buttazzoni (2004) recorded seven multi-point games, including his second four-point game of the season, in December. He also scored two game winning goals, for a total of four thus far in the regular season, as the league-leading Bandits went 8-1 through December. Mirko was twice awarded as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game adding to his total of six on the year.
Mirko Buttazzoni (Langley, BC) is tied for top spot in the AJHL Scoring Race with 58 points. The Clarkson University commit is third overall for goals (23) and second in assists (35).
