Pontiacs D-Man Paschinuk Named AB Ford Dealers Player of the Month

The Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for October 2015 is Brinson Paschinuk of the Bonnyville Pontiacs.  The 17 year-old defenceman scored 21 points (7G, 14A) in 12 games through October and leads all AJHL defencemen in scoring. 

Brinson Paschinuk is 2nd overall in the AJHL scoring race with 28 points, behind teammate Bobby McMann, and is averaging 1.3 points per game.   He has recorded 2 game winning goals and earned the Viterra AJHL Player of the Game Award three times in October.  He was also selected as the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the week of October 12th – 18th, 2015.

Paschinuk (Bonnyville, AB) has committed to Vermont of the NCAA Division I.  He is currently in his second full season with his hometown Pontiacs.

The Bonnyville Pontiacs are 7-2-1 in the last 10 games and hold 3rd place in the Viterra AJHL North Division standings.

The Alberta Junior Hockey League is pleased to partner with the Alberta Ford Dealers Association and will recognize the AJHL Player of the Month throughout the regular season.  The AJHL and Ford have also introduced the Alberta Ford Dealers Goalie of the Week Award for the 2015-2016 season.
