Dekowny (Swift Current, SK) recorded five multi-point games in January, including two game winning goals, and is currently riding an eight-game point streak totaling 16 points. Rhett was named as the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for January 6th-12th, 2025.
The 20 year-old AJHL veteran is tied for second in the AJHL Scoring Race with 48 points (19G, 29A) in 42 games. The Canmore Eagles were 7-1-1-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL) in January and are currently first in the Viterra AJHL South Division with 11 regular season games remaining.
