The 2017 Gas Drive AJHL Playoffs will begin on Thursday, March 9th with all six first round series hitting the ice. Round One is a best-of-five divisional quarter final.
The Regular Season Champion Brooks Bandits, and North Division leaders, the Fort McMurray Oil Barons, have each earned a first round bye and will play the lowest placed seed in Round Two.
The Viterra AJHL North Division will feature the following match-ups:
- Whitecourt Wolverines (2) vs Grande Prairie Storm (7)
- Spruce Grove Saints (3) vs Drayton Valley Thunder (6)
- Bonnyville Pontiacs (4) vs Sherwood Park Crusaders (5)
The Viterra AJHL South Division will feature the following match-ups:
- Canmore Eagles (2) vs Olds Grizzlys (7)
- Calgary Canucks (3) vs Drumheller Dragons (6)
- Okotoks Oilers (4) vs Camrose Kodiaks (5)
