RYAN ZAREMBA COMMITS TO MINNESOTA DULUTH

SHERWOOD PARK, AB: The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce forward Ryan Zaremba (’06) has committed to the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs (NCAA Div. I).

“The culture at UMD made my decision to become a Bulldog very easy,” stated Zaremba on his decision to commit. “I’d like to thank my parents, coaches, and everyone who has helped along the way”

“We are thrilled that Ryan has been awarded an NCAA Division I scholarship to the University of Minnesota Duluth,” commented Crusaders general manager Adam Sergerie. “This achievement is a testament to his unwavering dedication, exceptional talent, and relentless commitment he has to both academics and athletics. As Ryan embarks on this exciting journey, we have no doubt that he will continue to excel both on and off the ice.”

The commitment marks the 10th Crusader on this year’s team to earn a post-secondary scholarship.

Zaremba, an ’06-born forward, is in his first season in the AJHL. In seven games thus far, the Edmonton native has collected a total of four points (1 goal, 4 assists). Prior to joining the Crusaders, Zaremba was a part of the Regina Pat Canadians U18 AAA organization for two seasons, where he collected 83 points (33 goals, 50 assists) in 86 games.
