The 2004-born centre was awarded as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game in back to back wins over the Drumheller Dragons. Schmidt scored a goal and two assists in a 5-3 win on January 26th and added two more goals, including the game winner, on January 27th in a 3-1 win over the Dragons.

Pratt (2005) made 33 saves to record his first AJHL shutout on January 27th in a 2-0 final versus the Grande Prairie Storm. The following night, Elliott allowed just one goal in a 4-1 win in Grande Prairie.

Grant Fuchsen (2003) had two assists, including an assist on the game winning goal, in a 4-1 win versus the visiting Lloydminster Bobcats on January 26th and was awarded as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game. On January 27th, he scored two goals in a 5-1 win versus the Olds Grizzlys.
