Brooks Bandits Goaltender Jan Obernesser is the Source for Sports AJHL Player of the Week for the week ending January 23rd, 2011. Obernesser was 3-0-1 over the week and leads the AJHL South Division with 25 wins. Obernesser also leads the South Division with 2,229 minutes played. The Bandits are 7-1-2 in the last ten games and are second overall in the South Division with 62 points.
The 18 year-old from Calgary, Alberta represented the AJHL at the 2010 CJHL Prospects Game in December. Obernesser is in his second season with the Bandits.
