Tanner Fritz of the Grande Prairie Storm is the Source for Sports AJHL Player of the Week following the 4th Annual AJHL Showcase. Fritz scored 2 goals and 2 assists in 3 consecutive wins for the Storm last week. Fritz also recorded the winning goal in a Shootout versus Drayton Valley on September 28th. Fritz was named the Player of the Game for the Storm in two of three games played last week.
Fritz was nominated the Source for Sports AJHL Player of the Week in November 2009. The 19 year-old forward is committed to Ohio State University for the 2010-011 season. The hometown boy is in his 4th season with the Grande Prairie Storm.
The Alberta Junior Hockey League is proud to partner with Source for Sports to recognize the AJHL Player of the Week for the 2010-2011 AJHL Season. The recipients of the award will also receive a Source for Sports Gift Certificate.
