Josh Diegel, Vincent Filion and Ellis Mieyette Selected as Player of the Week Award Winners!

The first Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week is Drumheller Dragons forward Josh Diegel. In the opening games of the 2024-25 regular season, the 2005-born right winger scored three goals and five points. Rookie forward Ellis Mieyette has been awarded as the Inter Pipeline AJHL Rookie of the Week with five points in his first two games as a Drumheller Dragon. Fort McMurray Oil Barons goaltender Vincent Filion had a hot start with a 2-0 record and is the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Defensive Player of the Week.
