The 2016 AJHL Exhibition Season will begin on Wednesday, August 31st, 2016 with five games. The 44 game Pre-Season will include a pair of tournaments hosted by the Camrose Kodiaks and Okotoks Oilers. Five games will be played against interleague opponents as North Battleford (SJHL) and Bonnyville will play a home and home series, while Grande Prairie will play a three game series versus Prince George (BCHL).
Three new communities will enjoy AJHL action this Fall with exhibition games being played in Chestermere, AB, Prince George, BC and North Battleford, SK.
Every game in the 2016 Pre-Season will include period by period scoring results at AJHL.ca and select games will be broadcast on AJHL WebTV through FASTHockey.com. Fans can view the broadcast schedule and subscribe to FASTHockey here.
AJHL Opening Weekend will feature a total of 16 games with all 16 AJHL teams competing on both Friday, September 16th and Saturday, September 17th. The Regular Season will conclude after 480 games on Sunday, March 5th, 2017.
