The Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for November 2023 is goaltender Ben Charette of the Whitecourt Wolverines. Charette posted a 7-2-2 (W-L-OTL) record through the month, including two shutout victories, and led all goaltenders with a .948 save percentage.
Ben Charette (Aurora, ON) led the AJHL in wins (7) in November and posted a 1.86 GAA. He also earned three Viterra AJHL Star of the Game selections. On November 3rd, the 2003-born goalie recorded a season-high 51-save performance in a win over the Drayton Valley Thunder.
Charette leads the AJHL with a .930 save percentage and is third overall in goals against average (2.30). This is his second AJHL season after joining the Whitecourt Wolverines from the NAHL in 2022-23.
The Wolverines are tied for 6th place in the Canalta Hotels AJHL Standings and are 7-2-1 in the last 10 games.
