Thunder forward Brant Sherwood has committed to the Plymouth State Panthers of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC).
In 56 games played with the Thunder last year, Sherwood amassed 19 goals and 23 assists with 139 penalty minutes.
Thunder coach Fran Gow stated, “The Drayton Valley Thunder congratulates Brant on committing to a position with the Plymouth State Panthers and achieving his goal of playing at the collegiate level. “Woody” brought a skill set that made him a real threat and complimented it with his speed making it tough on defenders. The Panthers are getting a solid person as well as player. We wish all the best for Brant at Plymouth State.”
