Brooks Bandits forward Matt Wilkins is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the week ending December 11th. Wilkins scored 7 points in 3 games over the week, including an unassisted short-handed goal on December 7th versus the Calgary Canucks. The Bandits won all three games and Wilkins was named the Pro Hockey Life Player of the Game in two of the three games.
Matt Wilkins leads the Alberta Junior Hockey League in scoring with 54 points. The 20 year-old of Kimberley, BC is in his second AJHL season with the Bandits. Wilkins is committed to Union College for the 2012-2013 season.
