December 19th, 2011 – For the third time this season, Peter Quenneville of the Sherwood Park Crusaders has been named the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week. During the week of December 12th – 18th, Quenneville tallied 3goals and 6 assists in three Crusaders victories, including wins versus both Division leaders.
Quenneville scored the OT winner and received the Pro Hockey Life Star of the Game Award versus the Lloydminster Bobcats on December 14th. He also scored a third period goal versus Spruce Grove on December 17th, to send the game into overtime, where the Crusaders eventually won in a shootout.
Quenneville leads the Alberta Junior Hockey League in points per game with an average of 1.8 PPG. He is second overall in the AJHL Scoring Race with 59 points and 5 game winning goals. Peter Quenneville is a 17 year-old from Edmonton, AB and is committed to Quinnipiac University. This is Peter’s second year with the Crusaders.
