Goaltender Tyler Briggs of the Lloydminster Bobcats is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the week of October 3rd – 9th, 2011. Briggs posted a 2-0 record over the week, including his first Alberta Junior Hockey League shutout. Briggs was selected as the Pro Hockey Life Player of the Game in both Bobcat victories.
Briggs holds a record of 6-0 on the season and leads the AJHL with a 1.33 GAA. Tyler Briggs, a 19 year-old from Sherwood Park, is in his 3rd season with the Bobcats.
