The Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the week ending October 20th, 2013 is Forward Nicholas Jones of the Sherwood Park Crusaders. Jones scored 5 goals and 7 points in 3 games over the week. He recorded a four goal game, including the game winner, in a victory over the Calgary Mustangs on October 15th. Jones was twice selected as the Pro Hockey Life Player of the Game last week.
Nicholas Jones (Edmonton, AB) leads the Cru with 22 points and an average of 1.5 points per game. The 17 year-old is in his second AJHL season with the Crusaders. He is already nearing his point total from the 2012-2013 season (24 points in 48 games).
