For a team predicted to have some trouble finding its footing this season, the Sherwood Park Crusaders have looked an awful lot like Sherwood Sherpas.
The Crusaders had to replace more than half of their team to start this season due to players aging out or departing on college scholarships, but it hasn’t affected them as much as expected thus far.
After losing their first outing of the year, the Cru have come roaring back with four consecutive wins, the latest a 5-3 victory over the Bobcats in Lloydminster on Wednesday night in the first meeting of the season between the two teams.
