The Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for October 2018 is Dylan Holloway of the Okotoks Oilers. The 17 year-old forward leads the AJHL in scoring after accumulating 19 points (9G, 10A) through October.
Holloway was awarded as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game twice in October (October 7th vs Drumheller, October 12th vs Calgary Canucks), adding to his total of four Star of the Game selections already this season. Dylan recorded three 3-point games in October, all versus South Division opponents, and a career high 4-point game in a 5-1 victory over the Bonnyville Pontiacs on October 20th.
Dylan Holloway (Bragg Creek, AB) leads the Alberta Junior Hockey League Scoring Race with 11 goals, 17 assists and 28 points in 17 games. He is averaging 1.6 points per game and has already surpassed his point total from the 2017-2018 season (27 points in 28 games). Dylan leads the AJHL in both points (28) and assists (17).
Holloway is committed to the University of Wisconsin, members of the BIG 10 Conference in the NCAA.
The Okotoks Oilers were 7-4 in October and are currently fourth in the Viterra AJHL South Division.
