LUKE MARSHALL COMMITS TO CANISIUS UNIVERSITY

The Brooks Bandits are thrilled to announce defenceman Luke Marshall has committed to Canisius University, becoming the 16th player on the roster committed to an NCAA Division I school.

Marshall, 19, is in his second season with the Bandits and has dressed in 32 games, scoring 11 points (3G, 8A) so far.

The Saskatoon, SK product appeared in 35 regular season games during the 2022-23 season, and 13 games in the 2023 AJHL Playoffs, helping the team win the 2023 AJHL Championship. He dressed in all six games at the 2023 Centennial Cup in Portage la Prairie, MB, helping the Bandits win their fourth National Championship.

Prior to Brooks, Marshall played for the Notre Dame Hounds of the Saskatchewan U18 AAA Hockey League, where he won the SMAAAHL Championship with the Hounds in the 2021-22 season and appeared at the 2022 Telus Cup.

Canisius is located in Buffalo, New York and compete in the Atlantic Hockey Conference. Bandits alumni to play for the Golden Griffins include forwards Simon Gravel and Randy Hernandez.
