â??The Fort McMurray Oil Barons are pleased to announce thaâ??t 20 year old goalie Tanner Jaillet (Red Deer, AB) has accepted a scholarship to attend and play for the University of Denver (NCAA DIV 1). The Denver Pioneers play in the newly formed National Collegiate Hockey Conference.
Tanner has played in 85 regular season games â??over 3 AJHL seasons, compiling a 53-21-8 record with a 2.37 goals against average and .920 save percentage.
The Oil Barons organization would like to congratulate Tanner and his family and wish him all the best in his future academic / athletic endeavours.
