Okotoks Oilers Captain, Ben Gamache, is the Source for Sports AJHL Player of the Week for the week of October 4th – 10th, 2010. Gamache accumulated 3 goals and 3 assists in 3 games for the Oilers last week, including two powerplay goals. Gamache leads the Oilers in scoring with 16 points and has recorded two game winning goals. He is tied for fourth place overall in the AJHL Scoring Race and is on a four-game point streak totalling 7 points.

Gamache is a 19 year-old forward from Longlac, Ontario and is in his second season with the South Division’s Okotoks Oilers.
