Viterra Volunteer Profile: Lindsay Clothier, Calgary Canucks

The Alberta Junior Hockey League and Viterra are proud to recognize volunteers from each member team through the Viterra AJHL Volunteer Profile.   At the end of the regular season, one volunteer in both the Viterra AJHL North Division & Viterra AJHL South Division will be presented with the Viterra Salute to Service Award recognizing their service and commitment to the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

  • Name: Lindsay Clothier
  • AJHL Team:  Calgary Canucks
  • Volunteer Role: Lead, Operations, Communications, & Community
  • Number of Years Volunteering with Team: Off and on for the last 20 years! Started as a kid picking up the pucks after warm up. The last four years volunteering in my current position.
  • Why I Volunteer: The people in the Canucks organization are family. I have grown up in Max Bell and have had the privilege to get to know incredible volunteers and players.
  • Occupation: Environmental Scientist
  • Favorite AJHL Memory: The 2005 2nd round playoff series – Calgary Canucks vs the Brooks Bandits. The Canucks may not have won that series (they were close though), but I will never forget how crazy that series was. It was a fun time to be a Canucks fan.
  • Favorite AJHL Player:  The list is far too long and I could never pick just one. I do have favourite Canucks teams that usually have a bunch of my favourite players on them. The Canucks teams during the 2004-2005, 2008-2009, and 2016-2017 seasons have been my three favourite teams that I have cheered for.
